General Questions

We are based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Our office is in Newport and we currently operate our Empower Living initiative in Avalon, Mona Vale and Manly with more to come!

Our pricing options depend on how many activities you partake in a week, the transport your require and where you are picked up from. To view the options please click HERE and to find out prices, please submit an enquiry form and we will get back to you.

The great thing about CMcare is you can be involved as much as you like. We have activities, events and camps on a weekly and monthly basis, meaning you can choose how much you would like to attend. If you are really enjoying the activities and events and you are attending all of them, you could be nominated to be a CMcare Ambassador. Find out more HERE. CMcare’s experienced team of young support workers are there to assist getting through daily tasks in a safe manner while challenging our participants to be as independent as possible. Our team is young, fit and passionate about making sure each outing is a memorable experience. We work off support ratios per event which can be found on our Prices page.

CMcare specialises in providing services for participants with mild moderate disabilities, meaning that in group settings a participant can be supported safely at either a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio. Although everyone has a chance to join CMcare, we will give all participants a trial to see if they are suited to our team.

Weekend bookings can be made monthly through our JotForm booking system, where names will be added to a spreadsheet which all clients will have access to. For any regular support please contact CMcare management via phone or email and we will address your support requirements.

We are different from the other support services in Sydney as we are entirely experience based rather than care based. Of course, we provide care and support in all elements of disability care, however, CMcare was built on the passion to support people with a disability to have fun, gain independence, travel, hang out with their friends and have amazing experiences. We have a team of young and kind support workers who love coming to work and hanging out with their friends. With this being at the core of our values and goals, we want to promote awareness of this modern way of disability support and how it differs from the values of disability support services in the past.

CMcare provides daily transport to and from key places of employment, ensuring there are no barriers to our team being employed. Like all CMcare activities, our transport pricing structure is designed to provide maximum affordability for our participants and this is done by charging a base price and then discounting per extra participant in the vehicle. For our general programs, these range from 12 upwards and if you are under the age of 12, we have our Munchkins program. This is a new service and we absolutely love it, and so do the CMcare Munchkins! To find out more about this service, please click HERE.

No your not locked in or obliged to anything however CMcare has a cancellation policy which aligns with the NDI standards. This is also set out in our service agreement.

We send out weekly communications via email to our CMcare community which include whats happening throughout the week. This is also where you will sign up for certain activities and events. You receive text message reminders before your booked service and at the duration. Our community can contact us at any time via email, phone, SMS or website enquiry and we answer within the hour!

Yes we do! Courtney, Co-Founder is a registered nurse as well as a few other employees either in training or registered. This allows us to administer certain medication if that is required in your tailored support plan.

Yes, our staff are experienced with a wide range of disabilities. As everybody is different, the management team goes through an in depth onboarding process to understand the support that is required and then brief the support workers as necessary. We ensure that the support staff have all the information they need.

Our activities can be paid for from your NDIS plan, CMcare will invoice fortnightly in accordance with NDIS standards. For any enquiries or further details you can contact our accounts department.

Activities, Events & Camps

We have our famous Friday Pub Night every week which is loved by the entire CMcare Community. We hold this at multiple locations every week and often change it up, trying new venues all over. We offer our Fitness Fanatics days on Tuesdays & Fridays and on the weekends we do Super Saturday and Sunday Funday! On the weekend we go and do fun new activities with our friends which take us all over Sydney, and sometimes venturing out regionally.

Yes we sure do! We go to Fiji every year and we are planning some very exciting overseas trips for 2024, so make sure to stay updated so you don’t miss out! Our trips are very carefully planned and always include lots of fun activities.

Please reach out to your CMcare support worker or to the management team directly to express your interest in joining any upcoming trips. We do have a criteria for coming on these trips, so feel free to contact us to discuss.

We sure do! We try to plan a multi-day camp every month. Some of our favourite annual camps are our Farm Experience, Snow Camp at Thredbo and Port Stephens. We fill the calendar with new locations so make sure to stay updated to ensure you don’t miss out!

We put in a lot of time and effort researching new activities, experiences and camps and if you have any feedback or questions about this, please feel free to reach out to us. We work with innovative and modern companies on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, regionally in NSW and around Australia and even internationally. We never do the same thing twice, which means lots of research and planning!

CMcare outings are charged as short-term accommodation and are priced in accordance with the NDIS price guide.
